The Blum Tandem BLUMOTION undermount slide system delivers smooth, full-extension performance with built-in soft-close action. The 563 series includes three models: the 563 for standard 5/8 Inch drawer construction, the 563H for 1/2 Inch to 5/8 Inch sides, and the 563F for 5/8 Inch to 3/4 Inch sides. All support up to 90-100 lbs and feature Blum’s renowned durability. In face-frame cabinets, a rear mounting bracket is required for proper installation. At the drawer front, locking devices secure the drawer and provide adjustment options, with choices for standard use, depth adjustment, or inset applications-ensuring a precise, custom fit.

by Rob from Westlake, FLIn 2010 I built a whole kitchen from rough wood to done, all the cabinets, drawers, doors, etc... probably used 30 pairs of Blum drawer slides. Each came complete with all parts and instructions. Needed one pair for a project and now you must purchase the drawer slides and each locking device (right and left) separately. I don't believe brackets for the back were included either... add it all up and I'd have trouble paying for 30 sets today buying each piece separately at greatly inflated prices and quite expensive shipping. Was $53.37 for a complete pair of 12" drawer slides and a few screws and shipping. No instructions included either. It's been a while, instructions would have been nice.

Had to watch some YouTube videos to figure out how to install them. The written instructions are unnecessarily complicated and could be presented in a much simpler form.

by Kevin from Honolulu, HIGreat product, but does require a very precise, pre-drilled hole configuration at the back of the drawer box. Set up can be a real bear if you're not a cabinet shop and don't do this everyday and don't have templates. I installed four sets of these and busted one side of the tandem glides installing the first drawer. These glides are only sold in pairs so it was a costly mistake. Blum makes other bottom mount models that are easier to install, but this product has a very smooth glide/soft close action. Its a great product and could be a fantastic product if they could find a way to simplify the initial set-up. Its the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Cabinet Parts was fantastic. They stock difficult to find parts and delivery was fast and efficient. I would definitely order from them again.

by Dybowski from Hamburg, New YorkBuilding a 6 drawer filing cabinet, the under drawer mount allows the dovetail work to show and the soft close feature adds a feeling of quality to the work. Don’t forget to add locking devices to each set of slides, they are not included and are required along with screws for installation.
